Nine year old Regina Wyllie from Ayrshire is fast building a reputation as a talented wedding photographer. Regina already has a busy summer ahead with a lot of bookings in the pipeline.

The talented young photographer’s first assignment was on the 15th of April when she was asked to assist her dad who was photographing a friend of the family’s wedding. Regina’s dad, Kelvin is a professional photographer and has taken Regina with him on assignments since she was three years old; which is also when she first picked up a camera.

Her dad told The Huffington Post:

Since then, she started taking cameras from my bags and asking me to show her how to work them. It just grew from there and I always made sure never to push her for it, preferring to let her ask the questions.

Regina said; “I’m just enjoying learning different things about photography and art. I have always thought [photography] would be a hobby — I wanted to be a fashion designer — but I’m now starting to think that I may become a professional, like my dad.

Regina received great feedback from her first assignment as the couple told her dad, Kevin how “Regina’s shots, especially of their own children, had brought tears to their eyes.” Here are a few shots from Regina’s wedding photography portfolio
