The Scottish DJ took to the social networking site over the weekend to announce the couple’s year-long romance was over, but it’s been claimed the ‘I Will Never Let You Down’ hitmaker was unaware her beau was going to release the statement.
A source told The Sun: ‘Rita was left embarrassed when he tweeted that it was all over. She didn’t think he was going to make the announcement, so she was shocked.’After being spotted out and about in Hollywood with a series of women over the past few weeks, Calvin, 30, took to his Twitter page to address the rumour mill. He wrote: ‘To address speculation – myself and Rita ended our relationship some time ago. She is a beautiful, talented woman & I wish her all the best. (sic)’
