We have yet another prewedding shoot to share with y’all… This time by Photosuite. Nike & Paul got married on Saturday, July 26 2014; they had a pre-wedding shoot at the Cultural Centre, Kuto in Abeokuta. Read their story below… A tale of two best friends;
Nike & Paul’s Story
Once upon a time, there lived a boy named Paul and a girl named Nike…and they lived happily together after. Screeeech! Rewind!
There lived a boy named Paul and a girl named Nike. One day, after Nike’s family were done with dinner and Nike had gone to bed, her sister pleaded with her to make another bowl of ‘Eba’ for a guest who was soon to be home. Grudgingly, she obliged, then went back to bed and never saw the guest.
Fast forward: It was a lovely day in Eleko beach, the fun seekers from Nike’s local church were chatting happily and suddenly, Paul said he and Nike had a song for everyone. Of course this came as a surprise to Nike who detested being the centre of attraction of anything. Anyway, what happened that day was far from singing and dancing, it was the beginning of a happily ever after. Yes, Paul asked Nike’s hand in marriage. She couldn’t decide between saying yes and giving him a hard blow for making it a public affair.
- Paul: Ebullient, happy fish, (too happy a fish actually), fun seeking, ever bubbly, chatty, passionate, good looking, did I forget to mention, and of course selzy! Ha, lol!
- Nike: Interesting, loud, happy-go-lucky, has lots of friends. Zoooom! I mean Nike is the opposite of all of these, yes can be boring, discreet and friendless. Hahaha!
Typical conversation:
Paul: Hello my brother, you’re looking wonderfully glorious today! Hahaha! God bless you sir! How’s my friend? And your mum? Hahaha! Oh my God, bless you!
Nike: (Eyes rolling) Why must you laugh between every sentence? And try to reduce your voice when you greet people, you do it while worshipping in church too. (Eyes rolling now completed)
Paul: He’s a good friend. And lemme worship my God the way I know how.
Nike: Yes, everybody is your friend. How many friends do you have in actual fact? I mean real, best, friends this time, Paul?
Paul: Um,there’s Akinbayo, there’s Korede Omole, there’s Pastor Laolu Ladepo, Ayo, Evelyn Oyogho, Niyi Eluwole….(Lists about 35 who all are best friends. Looool
