As you all probably know by now, Mavin artist – Dr Sid and Simi Osomo’s white wedding held earlier today in Lagos. The reception was held at the Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos. The couple had their traditional wedding last Sunday July 27, 2014.
Simi looked lovely in her Carolina Herrera, Elie Saab and Roland Mouret wedding dresses. The wedding was planned by Funmi Victor Okigbo’s The Wedding Company and the decor was done by Newton & David. Their wedding cake was inspired by Simi’s parents’ wedding cake. Guests were told not to wear anything black/white.
At the reception, the groomsmen surprised the bride with a dance to Jay-Z’s ‘Tom Ford’ and Justin Timberlake’s ‘Suit and Tie’. For their first dance, the couple danced to John Legend’s ‘You and I’.
Don Jazzy presented the couple with a 2014 model Land Cruiser Prado as a wedding gift.
