Olivia (Livvie) and Jonathan… I first saw their tribal prewedding shoot a while back and instantly fell in love with these two. We featured a picture from their prewedding shoot in Volume 1 of our Traditional/Tribal Pre-Wedding Shoot Series. We absolutely love the fact that Jonathan asked Olivia’s dad if he could marry his daughter before popping the question… How cute!!!

Their Story
Alright, we will try to keep it short, although we have lots to say about how we dove into love with one another.
Typical love story. Boy meets girl, boy falls in love, girl falls in love. The rest is history.
In May 2010, a mutual friend of ours came up with a goal of playing matchmaker. Our friend convinced us that we would make a great match. Through our friend, we exchanged numbers and started talking. Olivia knowing full well that Jonathan was an Alabama fan decided to strike first, she wore an Auburn outfit on their first date.
Jonathan: It did not matter at that moment. I never paid any more attention to her outfit. It was love at first sight.
Olivia: At that point, all I thought about was that if we were going to date he would have to get used to me wearing Orange and Blue. And he was good looking.
We made it official June. After 3 years of dating (everyone thought it would’ve happened way sooner), Jonathan formally asked Livvie’s dad for her hand in marriage and soon after popped the question.
For those wondering why we have decided to have a long engagement, we ask: What’s the rush? We have a lifetime to spend together.
