We have another wedding feature for you all… Idowu and Owen.

The couple met about 10 years ago and they got married in August 2014. Ice Imagery was there to capture their big day. Speaking about the couple, our vendor – Ice Imagery had this to say;

I was excited to photograph this sweet couple in August. It was to be my first official wedding of the season and I could not wait. Fortunately mother nature was very kind cause their wedding made me look forward to future wedding gigs. They were awesome to work with, Owen(the bride) was a diva, Idowu (the groom) was also very cool and emotional. They won the award of “Best Couple 2014.”

How We Met

We met in UNIBEN about 10 yrs ago in a fellowship dance group. We were friends till I graduated, never thought we were ever going to date. We met again in Lagos about 4 years ago and by then I was about to propose to my girlfriend at the time. Because we were friends, I told her about it and she was happy for me. As fate would have it, I never got to propose and the relationship was eventually called off. I later got to discover she was single and available. The rest is history.

Proposal

I took her to a movie on October 1, 2013 and pretended like nothing was on my mind. After the movie, we walked to my car and sat to gist for a while before we called it a night. As the gist progressed, I quietly brought out the ring from my pocket and held her hand. She was completely shocked. Then I popped the question. Her reply was a definite YES!
