Joyce Bekeboh (a.k.a Jaybecks) is the founder of Jaybecks Bridals – a bridal business that specializes in bespoke tailoring of wedding dresses, special occasion dresses, party dresses, evening wear/gowns etc. With degrees in Civil Engineering & International Business, she ventured into the bridal business as a result of her passion for fashion. Jaybecks Bridals is known for its wide range of Couture evening gowns, formal gowns, Bridesmaid gowns and wedding gowns collection. Drawing inspiration from European and Middle East designers in combination with her African Heritage, Jaybecks Aspires to one day become like Elie Saab and Vera Wang.She believes with God, hard work & determination, anything is possible. Single and from a family of three, Joyce Bekeboh (Jaybecks), is full of energy and drive. Besides tending to her passion of creating the best fashion, she also works as an Engineering Logistics Supervisor.
The part of my job I enjoy the most… In this business, I meet new brides/clients every day and what makes it more interesting is the awesome friendship we maintain after our dealings. I have met clients who have become not just friends but more like sisters to me. I am really thankful for them.
My biggest accomplishment to date… As a young brand, it was a great honor to have the beautiful Nollywood actress, Tontoh Dikeh grace the AMVCA red carpet in a Jaybecks bridals creation. A dress for our first lady, Patience Jonathan is currently in the works.
The best vendor you’ve worked with … George Okoro Photography , this guy is an exceptional photographer , I have huge respect for him . I have also worked with Funke Bucknor of Zapphaire Events. This woman is down to earth and I appreciate her work a lot.
In my spare time, I enjoy dancing, watching movies and surfing news and blogs sites like TMZ, Linda Ikeji & Bella Naija for current affairs and news on the latest trends and fashion. My best gossip mate is my Mom , I love her dearly
Interesting fact about you… I was Born in Bauchi on the 31st of May at 11:59 pm . lol , I just refused to be a June baby.
