Motunrayo & Tobi met whilst at the NYSC orientation camp and the couple are due to get married this weekend. They recently had their pre-wedding shoot with one of our vendors – Seun Kilanko Studios. Speaking about the shoot, Seun said; “A very cute couple… they just wanted to have fun. They evidently share genuine love and it was fun all through their engagement session.”

“We met during the 3 weeks NYSC orientation ceremony at Farfaru camp, Sokoto state in the year 2010 while we were on the queue waiting to receive our transport allowance. On that fateful day, I saw him and thought he was Hausa because he is very dark in complexion. My thoughts was immediately dismissed when a friend of his called his name (Tobi) and out of utter disbelief, I had to ask him if he was truly Yoruba, then he showed me his I.D card. That was how our friendship started.
Although we were later posted to different places of primary assignment, we still stayed in touch with each other. After the completion of NYSC, he continued to call almost everyday, then I began to suspect that he was up to something.
Then, on the 28th of January, 2012, he asked me to walk this journey of life with him, I accepted on the 11th of February, 2012 after series of prayers and confirmation that he is the one for me. From that day, we embarked on a committed relationship. We had our ups and downs but God kept us glued together through His Word. One of the things that attracted him to me was his gentle look, he has this calm spirit and he is a gentleman. One other thing I must say that attracted me to him is that he is dark in complexion and very handsome. Above all, he loves God.”
