The grand premiere of the anticipated movie – The Wedding Party held yesterday, the 26th of November, 2016. The dress code for this star-studded event was ‘white and chic’ and this is of course right up our street; the celebrities came out to impress and we spotted a few looks that’ll be perfect down the aisle too.
In attendance were, members of the cast – Banky W, who made his acting debut in this movie, Adesua Etomi, Sola Sobowale, Richard Mofe-Damijo, Ali Baba, Ireti Doyle, Enyinna Nwigwe, AY Makun, EmmaOhMyGod, Saka, Kunle Idowu (Frank Donga), Ikechukwu, Beverly Naya, Somkele Idhalama, Zainab Balogun and more.
Other celebrities and notable personalities spotted at the event were the Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, Lai Mohammed, Pastor Tony Rapu, Lanre Olusola, Patrick Doyle, Olu Jacobs, Joke Silva, Genevieve Nnaji, Chigurl, Omoni Oboli, Ifeoma McDermott, OC Ukeje, Rita Dominic, Kemi Lala-Akindoju, Noble Igwe, Toke Makinwa, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Mimi Onalaja, Timi Dakola and many more.
The movie is set for release nationwide on December 16th 2015. We really can’t wait to watch this movie but in true LoveweddingsNG fashion, here are a few looks we loved.

About The Wedding Party
Written by playwright Tosin Otudeko and Kemi Adetiba, ‘The Wedding Party’ is an Elfike Film Collective production – a collaboration of Africa’s leading powerhouses – EbonyLife Films, FilmOne Distribution, Inkblot Productions and Koga Studios. It is the first time industry giants will partner on a film project and with TIFF’s recognition is proving that Collectives can grow and prosper the continent’s film community.
Set in Lagos, Nigeria, The Wedding Party is the story of Dunni Coker (Adesua Etomi), a 24 year old art gallery owner and only daughter of her parents about to marry the love of her life, IT entrepreneur Dozie (Banky W). The couple took a vow of chastity and is looking forward to a ground-breaking first night together as a married couple.
