What we loved about Ihuoma Linda Ejiofor and Ibrahim Suleiman’s Garden Themed Wedding in Lagos | #ISquared18

Nollywood actors and Tinsel on-screen lovers, Ihuoma Linda Ejiofor and Ibrahim Suleiman got married earlier this month. Their traditional wedding held on Thursday, the 8th of November, 2018 and their garden themed white wedding held on Saturday, the 11th of November, 2018.

We loved their wedding and in true LoveWeddingsNG style, we’re sharing everything we loved about #ISquared18. Enjoy!

Their Pre-Wedding shoot: You already know we love pre-wedding shoots, even more when its shot in a studio. Linda and Ibrahim’s pre-wedding shoot was photographed by Aham Ibeleme Photography and the pictures are so stunning and heart warming.

Their trad outfits: Linda wore two stunning bridal outfits for her traditional wedding. The first was a bright red detailed dress; Ibrahim looked like a Nigerian prince in his traditional outfit by Don Nwoye.

Linda later changed into a white dress complete with corals.

The First Look: Ibrahim’s reaction when he saw his bride for the first time on their wedding day was EVERYTHING! Watch it below.

Ditch Bouquets for Flower Hoops: The bridesmaids had flower hoops instead of bouquets; the flower hoops were supplied by Signature Blossoms.

No Gele’s, just fascinators: We noticed a lot of guests wore the same fascinators with their aso-ebi so we assume the asoebi came with the fascinator rather than the usual gele, which totally matche the garden theme for #ISquared18.

#MaiCouple: The bride and groom both wore outfits by Mai Atafo for the wedding ceremony. We love #MaiCouples and we think it’s a great idea to get one designer to design both outfits.

Mai Atafo also designed the Maid of Honour’s and bridesmaids mismatched bright and yellow dresses. Look out for our post about the mismatched bridesmaid trend!

Live Singers: The bride’s close friend, Adesua Etomi-Wellington sang Donald Lawrence’s Seasons as she walked down the aisle with her father. At the ceremony, Michael Onome Ejoor also sang during the wedding ceremony. At the reception, wedding singer Byno and Timi Dakolo also performed.

Second dance: Why stop at having just one dance at your reception. They had a first dance and a second dance.

Linda’s sneakers were reception-compliant: We love bridal sneakers; you know this already! So when we spotted Linda in her kicks for the reception, we went Yaaaassssss!!!

As you can tell, #ISquared18 was lit and we loved everything about their Nigerian wedding. The bride also did a stories takeover where she praised and thanked all the vendors that contributed towards the success of the day.
