Last week, we met Mr & Mrs. Anumudu at #Enjoy1819, we saw pictures and videos from the most luxurious wedding we’ve seen this year, Jimmy Fallon asked a question and Twitter responded. Here’s all the wedding news you missed last week.

Makeup artist, Joyce Jacob, and Enyinna Anumudu got married in an intimate wedding ceremony in Paris. Their #Enjoy1819 wedding was filled with stylish outfits from the groom’s mother, Nkiru Anumudu, his sister Ozinna Anumudu and other guests. Other notable guests spotted include Aliko Dangote, Femi Otedola, Rita Dominic, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, Ruth Osime, Elizabeth Elohor, Bola Shagaya amongst others.

Picture this, a wedding in the seven-star Burj Al Arab Hotel in Dubai, the bride in a custom Elie Saab dress, bridesmaids in Zuhair Murad, groomsmen in Tom Ford, Cartier wedding bands, David Austin flowers imported from Holland & more! We think we just found the most luxurious wedding of 2019. Brazilian Janaina Cardoso and Pakistani Imran Hussain got married last week in a Dhs7 million event, according to Harpers Bazaar Arabia. Their 120 guests went home with brand new engraved iPads. More from Imran and Janaina’s wedding here.

Jimmy Fallon took to Twitter on Tuesday, the 18th of July 2019 and asked people to share funny or weird stories from weddings they’ve attended with the hashtag #WeddingFail.

One follower, Amy Pennza shared that her mother-in-law wore a wedding dress to her wedding.

Here’s the thread where she explains the details. What would you do if your mother-in-law turned up at your wedding in a wedding dress?

That’s it for this week. See you next week for more news weekly updates.
