Mauritius is celebrating her 52nd independence today, the 12th of March, 2020. We thought this was the perfect opportunity to tell you about why this island, located on the east coast of Africa in the Indian Ocean, is the perfect destination for your Nigerian wedding. Let’s tell you why!
Mauritius is picturesque! We guarantee your wedding album will have no bad pictures.
Apart from the usual rehearsal dinners and pre-wedding activities, Mauritius offers a variety of fun activities for you and your guests to indulge in. From mountain climbing, biking, hiking, golf, shopping, deep-sea fishing, and more; you and your guests get a 2-in-1 holiday plus wedding trip. We think it’ll be the perfect opportunity to create amazing memories and pictures with breathtaking views.
The tropical island has unique wedding venues. From white-sand beaches, underwater venues, restaurants, gazebo of resorts and more; you’ll be spoilt for choice.
Nigerians can get a 2 weeks visa on arrival in Mauritius; this is a huge plus when you consider how difficult it can be to get visas to visit a lot of other countries.
Summer in Mauritius falls between November and April when the island experiences a warm humid summer, which is perfect for a destination wedding or event. We won’t recommend going to Mauritius in winter between May and October.
