“How COVID-19 affected our wedding plans” – Adebola

As the world continues to battle the spread of COVID-19 and the coronavirus pandemic, we’ve seen this affect so many weddings. Nigerian bride, Adebola from #BLAffairs20 was meant to be saying ‘I Do’ on Saturday, the 11th of April 2020 but she had to postpone her wedding due to the pandemic. She shared how COVID-19 affected their wedding plans with us;

My name is Adebola and our wedding was fixed for April 11th, 2020 but it could not hold because of the pandemic happening all over the world. At first, I was a bit down and worried about the whole thing because it was already affecting our wedding but with time; I could not even think about it at all as it would only look selfish of me!!! considering the fact that people are dying all over the world.

So I have decided to be strong and also to pray for those that are affected with the virus and most especially pray for the doctors and nurses helping them to recover…

We love Adebola’s attitude and would love to read from any other brides whose wedding plans have been affected by COVID-19. If you’ll like to share, get in touch via email at info(at)loveweddingsng.com or send us a message on any of our social media channels.
