A lot of couples have had their wedding plans disrupted due to the COVID-19 pandemic. UK bride, Chinelo Duru from #BecomingTheEzes20 got married on the 19th of September 2020 and has a message for other brides on how to make the necessary adjustments and still have a beautiful wedding day. She shared;
The 19th of September was a special day in that although the UK government legislated that weddings could only hold with 30 people, we went ahead with our wedding and had fun. To safeguard people, we decided not to have a reception and opted for a romantic night just for the two of us and God… it was beautiful.
My friends have asked me to share this as it may encourage a couple out there who want to get married but are not sure whether to do the wedding due to Corona. My take? Do it!!! A wedding only needs God, the two of you and the love of your family and close friends, everything else is an extra. I know it was the happiest day for me so I hope someone else is encouraged by this.
