The Adeoti’s met thanks to a customer issue at work. They went from a phone call to Head office to Teams and then WhatsApp (with the help from Outlook) to being friends, dating and now saying “I Do”; read their love story and see stunning pictures from their traditional wedding by The Truth Weddings.
How we met
I worked as a customer service officer in a bank and on this particular day, I had a customer issue that required putting a call through to the head office. He picked the call and introduced himself (I wasn’t paying attention, I just wanted a solution to the issue). He was of great help, he assigned the job to a junior colleague of his and the issue was sorted.
About a week later, I saw his chat on Teams, I was very reluctant to reply as I already had an idea what he wanted, I told my colleague “that guy that helped me last week is chatting me, what does he want” and my colleague suggested I hear him out. I replied him and in the course of our conversation, we discovered that we attended the same secondary school. He was my senior (the mean senior lol).
We caught up and I still didn’t give out my number to him. A few days later, he sent me a message on WhatsApp (he had gotten my number from Outlook). We started a friendship that led to dating and then marriage.
