Simi Sanya & Femi Dapson’s Pre-Wedding Shoot Has Us Obsessed
We already fell in love with Simi Sanya and Femi Dapson at their civil wedding, but their pre-wedding shoot? That’s a whole different level. As part of the #MeetTheDapsons26 series, they’ve been dropping looks one by one and so far, they’ve given us two and we are not okay. Here’s a breakdown of what they’ve served so far.
Look 01 — The Denim Look
They kicked things off with a denim look and honestly, it was such a vibe. Both of them wore matching denim sets and they just looked so good together. Simi kept it fresh with a white crop top underneath and finished the look with red ballet flats that little pop of colour was everything while Femi matched her perfectly and the whole thing felt very cool and effortless. A great first look to open with.
Look 02 — The Red Look
Then came look two and wow. Simi wore this gorgeous red beaded gown with 3D floral details all over it and she looked absolutely stunning. Femi complemented her in a clean burgundy sleeveless suit and the way he’s holding her in the photos? So tender. The deep red backdrop tied it all together perfectly. This one is giving romance, it’s giving sultry, it’s giving everything.
Look 03 — The Traditional Look
Look three is where things got really special. They went full African royalty in matching purple and gold metallic traditional outfits. Simi wore a stunning bubu with a gold neckline and a dramatic feathered gele headpiece. Femi rocked a matching agbada with a black beret decorated with cowrie shells. The gold jewellery, the rich fabric, the whole look — it’s beautiful and it feels so intentional. You can tell this one was close to their hearts.
Look 04 — The Beach Look
This one caught us off guard in the best way. Simi and Femi took things to the beach for look four and the whole vibe shifted completely. They wore matching cream and brown crochet outfits with fringe and beaded details making the look very relaxed, very summery. The ocean in the background, the warm tones, the easy way they’re sitting together and it all just feels so natural and real. Easily one of the most beautiful shots of the whole series.
Look 05 — The Black Tie Look
They saved the best for last. Look five is pure elegance. Simi wore a sleek black strapless gown with silver and lavender crystal detailing along the bodice and Femi showed up in a black sparkle tuxedo with a bow tie. They look like they’re about to walk a red carpet and honestly, they should be. The neutral grey backdrop lets them do all the talking and they absolutely do. A perfect close to a perfect shoot.
