The proposals keep coming this season, and we are definitely not complaining. First it was Meraiah, then Michelle Adepoju, and now Diana Eneje has joined the list of women who have said yes this year.
If you follow Nigerian social media, you probably already know Diana Eneje, the fashion and lifestyle content creator known for her effortlessly stylish looks. The two have kept their relationship mostly private, but fans have still gotten little glimpses here and there. Like the $50k Birkin Diana got from Pascal on Valentine’s Day, followed by a romantic getaway not long after.
Now, Diana has finally given us another glimpse into their love story, and this time, it came with a ring. Sharing Instagram photos from the proposal, Diana simply wrote, “My Forever ❤️.”
Pascal did not hold back with the proposal. A giant “Will You Marry Me” marquee sign lit up against a backdrop of white balloons, with mountains rising beautifully in the distance. At the base of the display was another sign that read, “Forever Starts Here.”
A personalised welcome sign was also waiting nearby with the words, “Hello Darling, You Look Incredible, Now Go Grab A Drink.” It is such a small detail, but one that shows this proposal was planned right down to the little things.
The photos captured Diana with her hand over her mouth in shock as Pascal got down on one knee. In another, the couple stood wrapped in each other’s arms, celebrating as fireworks in every colour lit up the sky behind them.
Their friends were also there to celebrate the special moment, dressed up and looking just as excited as the couple. Everyone later gathered on the same white platform for celebratory group photos.
We still do not know the exact location, but going by the mountains in the background, it looks like it could be somewhere along the winelands or coastal parts of South Africa. Either way, the views alone made the whole proposal look like something out of a fairytale.
