Bibi Lawrence closed The Lagos Bridal Show 2026 runway as the headliner with a collection that definitely got our attention. She is known for her bold designs and love for detailed beadwork, and we saw plenty of that in this collection.
There was a lot to look at, from colourful 3D beadwork and cowrie shells to bold headpieces, detailed embroidery and dramatic gowns. One of the looks that stood out to us was the ocean-inspired mini dress, covered in colourful beaded coral, sea creatures, starfish and cowrie shells. The beaded fringe moved with the dress, giving the look a fun finish that would work well for a reception or after-party.
Another standout was a silver and champagne column gown covered in beadwork and crystals, with pink and gold floral details running across the dress.
We also saw an emerald green gown with a structured headpiece, a burnt orange dress with sheer details and gold cuffs, and a deep crimson gown with a beaded lion across the bodice. From the colourful beadwork to the different fabrics and accessories, every look had something interesting to see. We loved how bold the collection was, and each outfit gave us a reason to take another look.
Overall, Bibi Lawrence brought plenty of personality to the runway. The collection was bold, playful and full of details, making it a memorable way to close The Lagos Bridal Show 2026.
