What we loved about Fatou & Obi’s Nigerian-Gambian Wedding | 2706 Events

Gambian Bride Nigerian Groom Fatou and Obinna Ifedi #FOBI17 2706 Events LoveWeddingsNG

Fatou and Obinna Ifedi (#FOBI17) got married on Saturday, the 22nd of April, 2017 at the Havilah Event Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos. Their ‘gold and wine’ themed wedding was planned and co-ordinated by 2706 Events. The couple had a low-key family traditional wedding in Gambia on the 7th of March, 2017 which was a low-key family affair.

In true LoveWeddingsNG fashion, we’ve gone through all the details and we present everything we loved about #FOBI17.

Enjoy!!

Pre-wedding shoot: Fatou and Obi had a very clean and classy pre-wedding shoot with Jide Akinyemi Photography.

The bride’s dress: In the bride’s words; “Searching for “The Dress” was a hectic journey. After visiting a lot of wedding boutiques and I was about to give up, I saw an Allure mixed satin and Swarovski beaded mermaid dress and I instantly knew this was it. The dress was classy, comfortable and easy to manoeuvre, which were the three things I was looking for in a dress.

The second dress was made by April by Kunbi; Fatou described the dress as “sexy and classy” and she looked like a million dollars in it.

The bouquet: Fatou’s bouquet was made by Adelas Haven; it was made of red roses and embedded with crystals. We absolutely love this bouquet!!

Groom & Groomsmen’s suit: The groom’s suit was a blue three-piece custom made by King & Allen, UK. The bowtie was from Hawes Curtis, UK.

Bridesmaids Dresses: The bridesmaids dresses were designed by “Maison de helen and they looked amazing in them.

Father – Daughter Dance: The father daughter dance was so emotional which got tears flowing. We’re working on getting the video and will share this soon.
