The highly anticipated Nollywood romantic comedy, The Royal Hibiscus Hotel (RHH) premiered on Sunday, the 4th of February, 2018 at the Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria.
The movie is about a couple, Segun (Jide Kosoko) and Rose Adeniyi (Rachel Oniga), who run a charming, but run-down, boutique hotel in Lagos, Nigeria. In desperation, Segun decides to sell the hotel without his wife’s knowledge, in order to settle their debts. Their daughter, Opeoluwa (Zainab Balogun), who lives in London decides to return to Nigeria. Her dad wants her to sign the papers to sell the hotel she is destined to inherit, while Mom can’t wait to marry her off. Meanwhile, Ope meets Deji, a charming young businessman with a secret that threatens her plans to restore the hotel’s fortunes. Watch the trailer below;
