Nigerian couple, Folake and Taiwo are getting married this weekend, Friday, 16th of March and Saturday, the 17th of March, 2018 in an event planned by Tessallure Events. The couple shared how they met and pictures from their pre-wedding shoot with Laphy Photography.

How they met
I had just moved to the States and I was seriously searching o!
A friend of mine told me about a Muslim group on Facebook and also talked about this guy. We eventually connected on Facebook. I think I was initially fronting because of my experiences with social media connections. I eventually got more comfortable talking to him and it was non stop.
We would talk all day everyday and into the night. At the time my sister, who was visiting, would tease me. We eventually met in person in August and I remember telling my friend, Tomisin that he is the kind of person I see myself marrying ?. I was shocked after realizing I said that out loud. Anyone who knows me knows I can do Shakara.
Anyways, we started long distance dating and it was not easy. Few months into our relationship we were already talking about wedding plans; I would form “not interested” even though I knew I would love to spend the rest of my life with him. He eventually proposed on the 1st of January 2017 at a new year countdown event and it was absolutely perfect.
