Shade got married last weekend to her fiance, Walid Zeidan in an intimate outdoor wedding ceremony. Shade was styled by Nigeria’s foremost bridal stylist, The Wardrobe Manager (TWM). The bride looked stunning in three bridal looks, which were carefully put together by TWM to reflect Shade’s personality.
We caught up with Tosin, the creative director of TWM about the bride’s stunning looks. Here’s the low down.

Look 1: The Unconventional Black Robe: “We went a bit unconventional with Sade’s robe – a black silk satin robe with lace detailing
Look 2: The White Wedding Ceremony look: The theme for Shade’s white wedding look was simple and contemporary. For her accessories, TWM chose earrings by Marlena Dupelle, shoes from Christian Louboutin, a hairpiece and bracelet by Elsie Joy Bridal.
Her earrings by Marlena Dupelle were a pair of simple, classic crystal and pearl drop earrings, which complemented Shade’s wedding style. “It was our first and only suggestion to our bride. She loved it and bought them immediately.”
Her hairpiece and bracelet were spotted by TWM on Elsie Joy Bridal’s Insta stories and they were perfect to complement Shade’s simple bridal look
Shade’s Louboutin shoes were a pair of dazzling pumps, which TWM presented on Shade’s mood board to set the tone for a contemporary look. “She loved it; again – our first and only suggestion”
Shade hired makeup artist, Bimpe Onakoya to enhance her already pretty face. “She loves everything simple and pretty and she loved her look”.
Shade’s bouquet by Adelas Flowers was filled with classic ivory and blush pink roses and baby’s breath with some greens to complement the outdoor wedding setting and the entire wedding look.
The dress was specifically chosen to stay true to her intimate outdoor wedding ceremony setting. TWM looked for a dress that flowed beautifully and that was easy for the bride to walk around in the garden in. This strapless organza dress with a fitted bodice and dreamy floral detail at the bottom from Perfect Bridal was perfect! And it was off the rack too!
Look 3: Glitz & Glam: For the after party, TWM opted for a glitz and glamour themed look as Shade wanted to sparkle. Her hair was switched into a sleek ponytail to show off the details on her dress and the entire look. Shade also swapped her earrings for a bold pair by Elsie Joy Bridal. She looked dazzling
