Valerie‘s traditional bridal outfit would have easily passed for a white wedding outfit especially if it was white or ivory. The Efik bride wore a stunning green off shoulder dress.

Chichi from #ChadFinity18 wore an Igbo traditional bridal outfit, which gave us a taste of Komole for Igbo brides. The Delta-Igbo bride, who was styled by Lavish Bridal, wore an off-shoulder blouse and skirt with a cute bow. The skirt was made of Akwa Ocha (a fabric made from wool; it’s the traditional cloth worn by the people of Anioma region of Delta state, Nigeria) and featured a white bow detail, which we absolutely love. We love the modern twist on this outfit and it reminds us of how Deola Sagoe’s Komole redefined Yoruba traditional bridal outfits.
