Adedeji and I connected through a persistent Instagram message that he had patiently sent months before we finally spoke. After a tough breakup in July 2023 during law school in Lagos, where I was left heartbroken for simply being myself, I unexpectedly replied to one of Adedeji’s comments on my story. From that moment, everything changed. Adedeji proved to be kind, sacrificial, and loved me for exactly who I was, embracing the qualities others had made me feel bad about. His pure, intentional love brought healing, and we both feel blessed to have multiple confirmations that we are meant to be together. We can’t wait to begin our forever.
