Faith & Jonah got married recently and the couple shared their love story and wedding photos by Swale Photography with us. Here’s the story of how #Omize started.
It all started in 2015 when a friend came to visit her partner in Lagos. During her stay in Lagos, I went to pay her a visit and that was when we met. Turns out my friend’s partner and Jonah (Jo) were cousins. Jo was on his way to the hospital for treatment and asked me to come with him that first day we met and I didn’t even hesitate🤦🏾♀️. We kept in touch for a while and stopped speaking to each other eventually.
In between our long break of not speaking, he would call once in a while and say “I am coming to marry you in 2020, just be ready” – he did this more than twice. In my mind I’m like, “who is this clown?, mtcheww”
Early 2019, I was going through a really tough time, and he showed up – just when I needed him the most and now, we are here. Jo said, ” I knew you were the one when I saw you, there is just this feeling I get when I see something that is mine“…
