The daughter of African billionaire, Aliko Dangote – Fatima Dangote got married to Jamil Abubakar, the son of the former Inspector General of Police, MD Abubakar. The wedding took place at the Eko Hotel & Suites yesterday, Friday the 23rd of March 2018. The event was attended by a number of guests including the First Lady, Aisha Buhari, Vice President of Nigeria, Yemi Osinbajo and his wife – HE Dolapo Osinbajo , whose daughter got married recently; Microsoft founder, Bill Gates, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Bukola Saraki, Femi Otedola, Dino Melaye, Jakaya Kikwet (former Tanzania President), Citizen TV’s , Jeff Koinange and many others.
#Famil2018 was planned by Nigeria’s top wedding planner, Zapphaire Events. Fatima looked stunning in her Ellie Saab dress paired with a turban from John3v3. Her bridesmaids wore dresses by Something Peridot paired with turbans from Turban Tempest. The evening featured performances by King Sunny Ade, Nigerian comedian, Kenny Blaq; Davido, Wizkid and Omawumi.
