The second half of the year kicked off with a number of postponements, cancellations due to the COVID-19 pandemic but weddings resumed later the ‘COVID-19 complaint’ way with small and intimate celebrity weddings like Vimbai Mutinhiri‘s registry wedding in Calabar.

#TheSBond: Popular Nigerian blogger, Linda Ikeji‘s sister and event planner, Sandra Ikeji, and her husband, Samuel Arinze tied the knot on the 11th of January, 2020 in grand style in Lagos, Nigeria. Their #TheSBond white wedding had a record-breaking number of over 200 bridesmaids.
#AdeKani: Davido‘s elder brother, Adewale Adeleke, and his wife, Kani had a destination wedding in Abu Dhabi. Their #Adekani luxury wedding held on Sunday, the 2nd of February 2020 at the Emirates Palace Hotel, Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Anita Joseph’s Wedding: The Nollywood actress announced she was married when she shared photos of her wedding to Michael Fisayo on Instagram.
