Nollywood actor, Kunle Remi welcomed us to the new year with a loved up photo of himself and his wife, Boluwatiwi at their court wedding. Kunle Remi broke hearts that fateful day but that was only the beginning of more jaw dropping news to come. 2. Veekee James
Nigeria’s creative fashion designer and musician Veekee James blessed the month of love (February) with her talk of the town traditional and themed white wedding. Veekee James also delivered a stellar performance of her song “Olugbeja” with the city choir. #LoveUnbeaten24 was a cocktail of avant garde fashion, exquisite decor and memorable moments.
3. Moses Bliss
While the internet was still blazing with #LoveUnbeaten24 excerpts, Nigerian gospel artist – Moses Bliss surprised the internet with pictures from his engagement to Ghanaian damsel, Marie Wiseborn in March. Moses Bliss released a song specifically for his boo titled “Carry Am Go” and his wedding was filled with Nigerian gospel music songs showing all and sundry that a Christ-centered Nigerian celebrity weddings can be a banger with no secular music in sight. #ForeverBliss #mmbliss24
4. Theophilus Sunday
Following the excitement of Moses Bliss leaving the single market, Theophilus Sunday another Nigerian gospel artist showed us that his heart burns for Christ and Ashlee White a Jamaican real estate mogul. 5. Yinka Ashogbon
The month of April came prepared with more Nigerian celebrity weddings than we thought. Soon after Theophilus Sunday married his Queen, fashion entrepreneur and the creative mind behind the luxury brand Ashluxury, Yinka Ashogbon legally married popular Nigerian influencer and model Chidera in an intimate and dashing event with the hashtag #DASH24

Freelance content creator, Salem King and singer/songwriter, Jesi Damina took the internet by storm when they released their pre-wedding pictures with the hashtag #SKJD24 and then, went on to let the waterworks loose for family, friends and viewers with their emotional wedding vows at their white wedding.

A Nigerian celebrity wedding that completely took the world by storm this year, is that of the Nation’s darling, Davido 001 a.k.a. 10. Sharon Ooja

The month of August started with a celebrity wedding and while it was about to say its last words, Nigerian celebrities said not without a bang! Socialite and social media influencer, Yhemo Lee tied the knot legally and traditionally with his long time partner, Oyindamola popularly known on Instagram as @thayour_b .
The traditional wedding happened on the 31st of August and yes, #tyloverocks24 was nothing short of amazing.
