Last weekend, our team spent the day at Lakowe Lakes exploring what the beginning of Happily Ever After could look like at this beautiful venue. The wedding showcase tagged ‘Happily Ever After’ attracted event planners, intending couples, and some of your wedding industry faves including Funke Bucknor-Obruthe, Bisola Borha, and others. Here’s a recap of how the day went for us.
Guests were treated to an array of activities such as pedal boating, bridal brunch, and picnics. We also went on a tour around all the various event venues in the Estate from the lush and picturesque island to the well-equipped banquet hall and the cottages, where couples who book their wedding package can stay in. We got a glimpse of what your wedding day could look like at Lakowe Lakes, thanks to the stunning wedding decor setup and displays by Events by Claud and Sara O Events.
One of the highlights of the day was the vendor panel session led by Abimbola Etti of Saffron Travels with seasoned wedding experts such as Funke Bucknor of Zapphaire Events, Bisola Borha of TrendyBEE Events, and Debola Lewis of Yvent Couture. Speaking on why couples should consider Lakowe Lakes, Funke Bucknor shared; “When we talk about location and scenery, Lakowe Lakes has the scenery and the greens. When you are driving in, it looks very beautiful. There are many more reasons why you should come to Lakowe lakes but I think the location and scenery are enough”
