Nigerian couple, Adesola & Adeola said ‘I Do’ in Maissemy, France and we love their ‘Country classic meets Minimalism’ themed wedding. The colors of the day – white and forest green gave #EnrouteAdesh22 the perfect Nigerian wedding in France vibe. On her experience getting married in France, the bride shared “It was a challenge trying to find all the cultural vendors for the traditional wedding (Alaga, traditional drummers, etc) but it was a great challenge. Enjoyed every bit of the journey.” She also shared 10 tips to help you save when planning an intimate wedding.

How we met
We met all the way back in 2013, at the Nottingham Trent University. I had just begun my undergraduate degree while he was midway through his Master’s degree.
I think we met on BlackBerry Chat, but he says we started talking on ‘Insta-Chat’. Anyhoo, we met online. I remember moving from France to Nottingham earlier than most students, in order to have enough time to settle in and maybe get a part-time job before lecture starts.
This was the first time I was moving far away from home, so loneliness kicked in very quickly. I remember keeping myself busy with series of shopping sprees but I soon realised my bank account was not going to cope for long. Then I decided to make friends, but not a whole of people were in town yet, it was difficult to randomly / physically meet people, that’s when I thought why not try to make some new friends online?
I registered to this online app, changed my search settings to find people close to my address, and BOOM, I landed on this interesting profile of a young charming guy living about 1.6KM away from me.
I can’t remember how I started the chat but here we are today!
Over the years, it’s been a lot of travels back and forth between Europe and Africa to eventually both of us moved to a new continent entirely, and the story continues.
