Abuja based fashion designer, Anita (Ms Makor) said ‘I Do’ to Olayemi in a lavish wedding ceremony planned by Exquisite Events Abuja. We’re not sure where to begin; the bride’s makeup looks, her absolutely stunning outfits, the groom and the groomsmen or actually the entire bridal party? Anyways, here’s everything we loved about #Alfreds2017
We loved Ms Makor’s pink practical bridal robe especially the details on the sleeves; she definitely stood out for all the right reasons.
Her traditional outfits were stunning. From the fabric to the shoes, purse and jewellery; Ms Makor looked like a million dollars in all her looks styled by Lavish Bridals.
For the white wedding, Ms Makor looked absolutely stunning in a wedding gown, which she designed herself. The gown was 4 meters long, 3 meters wide and weighed 40kg. According to photographer – George Okoro,
Ms Makor sourced her fabric, crystals, pearls and Swarovski from Turkey. Started the process of making the dress with soft chantily lace, satin and tulle as the base, and we encrusted crystals, pearls and Swarovski on the lace using the Tambour beading and embroidery technique. Everything was hand-beaded. Overall, the process took about 2 months to put her wedding gown together!
Banke Meshida-Lawal of BMPRO did an amazing job with the bride’s makeup. All the looks were perfect and complemented Anita’s outfits.
The Bridesmaids looked stunning in their aso ebi and white dresses designed by the bride, Ms Makor. And did they slay the Solange inspired bridal party pose or what?
