Dami & Deji’s traditional wedding was all shades of cultural, vintage, retro. The stage decor by Events by Claud featured a typewriter with a love note from Deji to Dami in Yoruba. The stage also had items from the 70’s like CDs from Ebenezer Obey, a black and white TV, old magazines, lanterns and more.

A Traditional Farm Themed Wedding

Sumbo and Moses had a farm-themed traditional wedding planned by #LWNGVendor and Nigerian wedding planning company, TrendyBE Events. The wedding featured farm produce – fresh fruits, vegetables and more. The hostesses looked the part with their white traditional attires, hairstyle, and beads; the waiters dressed up as palm wine tappers and rode bicycles around the reception hall serving palm wine to guests.

A Trending Social Media-Themed Wedding 

Ada and Uche had a social media-themed wedding planned by #LWNGVendor and Nigerian wedding planner, IPC Events. The couple’s social media-themed wedding featured Whatsapp wedding invitation cards, BBM chat inspired menu cards, Twitter cocktail glasses, place cards made up of the actual tweets guests uploaded about the wedding, a QR code to allow guests upload photos and videos to the #AdUche2016 wedding social media page and more.
