Throwback Thursday to some iconic Genevieve Bridal Magazine covers

Every December, Nigerian magazine – Genevieve have a bridal issue and they’ve covered pretty much everything and everyone from celebrity brides to bridal designers, and more. We take a look back at some of the iconic bridal magazine covers we’ve seen over the years.

Africa’s leading fashion entrepreneur, Mai Atafo and his celebrity muses – TV presenter, Bolanle Olukanni; comedian, Wofai Fada and actress, Linda Ihuoma Ejiofor covered Genevieve Magazine‘s bridal issue in December 2017. They all wore pieces from the designer’s latest bridal collection, The Heart Collection.

Exactly a year before Mai’s bridal cover, actress – Yvonne Jegede Fawole covered Genevieve Magazine’s December 2016 issue as she geared up for her wedding to Olakunle ‘Abounce’ Fawole. The actress talked about being comfortable getting married at 33 and more.

In 2015, Tolu ‘Toolz’ Oniru was on the cover of Genevieve’s bridal issue. The celebrity bride-t0-be looked every inch aisle ready to say ‘I DO’ to her husband Tunde Demuren.

In 2014, we had actress, Ibinabo Fiberesima grace the cover as she got wedding ready for her traditional and white wedding to Uche Egubka in December 2014

In 2013, newly wed Peter Okoye and Lola Omotayo were on the cover; the couple had just had their traditional wedding on Saturday, the 17th November 2013 at the Ark, Lekki and looked white wedding ready on the cover.

In 2012, Damilola Adegbite and Eku Edewor were flower girls on the cover of Genevieve’s annual wedding issue.

In 2011, supermodel Ojy Okpe was on the cover eight years after her wedding. We actually still have a copy of this epic issue that also featured Linda Ikeji, Jumai Shaba and Matilda Obaseki in their dream wedding gowns.

We cannot wait to see who’ll grace the cover in December 2018! Any guesses?
