Last week was very busy in the wedding world. Nigeria turned 59 and vendors took the opportunity to bless us with green and white bridal inspo. We also celebrated with two wedding vendors (Dodos and Tola of Charis Hair) who said ‘I Do’ for #Todo2019 and #ForeverIsraels. Here’s all the wedding news you missed last week.
Nigerian couple, Brenda and Joel were once little bride and page boy at a wedding years ago. Today, the couple are married. The bride shared the photo below with the caption;
“My name is Brenda while my hubby’s name is Joel. We grew up together, our parents are friends, our relationship started from childhood. I have never been happier all my life. I said yes to spending the rest of my life with my #bestfriend. I would choose you a million times over. I love you with all my heart’.”

The queen of bridal hair, Tola Olayanju of Charis Hair and her fiance, Dimeji Israel had their traditional wedding on Saturday, the 4th of October 2019 in Birmingham, United Kingdom. Makeup artist, Dodos got married to Lagos based writer, producer and director, Tolu Itegboje in Marrakech, Morocco on Saturday, the 28th of September 2019. The wedding was attended by Denola Grey, Genevieve Nnaji and Oluchi Orlandi.
Music star, Justin Bieber and his wife, Hailey celebrated their marriage on the 30th of September 2019. The celebrations come 12 months after their court wedding, which held in September 2018.
The Daily Mail reports that the night before the wedding, the couple brought their loved ones together for a pre-wedding sleepover and hosted a screening of their favourite film, The Notebook.
