Stella is the MD/CEO and also the Creative Director of Planifications Event Concept. Planifications is an event planning, floral design, event decoration, event rental company with bespoke concepts, detailed planning, and excellent executions. Stella is a graduate of Business Administration at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) and a graduate of Event Marketing and Communications at Ashdown Academy Kings College London and also McQueen Floral Academy in London. Stella is very experienced in the event industry having been in the industry since 2004 and has worked in all aspects of event processes. She started Planifications in 2010 and is passionate about God, family, and the event industry.

The Part of My Job I Enjoy The Most? I love the smile and happiness that comes with being a vital part of people’s happiness on their big day and I like the dynamic of working with all kind of people , I have met the best people on this path.
What’s the most difficult part of your job? The unforeseen circumstances that can happen ceremoniously or unceremoniously at any given event during an event which is most times unpredictable.
My Biggest Accomplishment To Date… Professionally Being able to do what I love to do both locally and internationally. And my ever growing new family ,I am So grateful !!!
Do you think wedding vendors are respected enough? I think our culture and our drive to please everybody makes us go the extra mile, way out of our duty core which sometimes maybe taken for granted and not valued … every aspect of event is as important, we should show respect to everyone involve in an event project for the general success of the event.
The Best Vendor You’ve Worked With? Everyone I have met has made me and the Planifications brand better. That being said, I like the calmness of Duduguy Photography, I love the vibrancy of Sisi Pepper. I love how understated and creative Cakes by Say Cheese can be; I love the ambiance Rostal Flower creates. I admire the professionalism of Blue World Drinks; I love the drive of Finesse Event and the support system of Lasting Memories Group and Wine and Gold Catering.
One Quality Every Nigerian Wedding Vendor Must Have and Why? Professionalism, all round professionalism form start to finish even after the event.
Most Embarrassing/Awkward Experience… Once upon a time, very long ago I fell flat in the middle of the multi purpose hall A, B and C at UNILAG while I was working at an event . As a lady, I picked myself up in .0 seconds and walked away and acted like nothing happened. I went back stage and had a good laugh with my colleagues.
Does anything scare you? Nothing : God has not given us the spirit of fear but of love and sound mind , perfect love cast out fears .
What’s the best souvenir you’ve gone home with from a wedding you’ve attended/worked at? I have this metal coin that has the couple’s names and a love quote engraved in it. I got it from a wedding I worked at years ago in Aso Rock; it was given to me by a guest to show appreciation.
Your thoughts on social media? As much as I am not so much a “social media person,” Planifications is actively involved in social media… it’s the new revolutionary phenomenon that has come to stay and a platform that all businesses should take advantage of because the market is no longer in your visual locality, the world is a global market.
Do you ever Google yourself or your company and what did you find? I Google “Planifications” from time to time and sometimes “Stella” all for public relation purposes.
What did you find? I found out how far we had come and how well we are doing, things we need to do more of and things we need to make adjustments on.
In my Spare Time, In my spare time I pray, spend time with my immediate family and read . I am also a reality TV series junkie .

Where do you feel most at home? Home is anywhere my immediate family is.

Cook or Be Cooked For? Both , I like to be cooked for and I love to cook too depending who I am having over.
Favorite Food… I am an adventurous eater but I love anything made with seafood .
What’s your favourite item of clothing? My favourite will be dresses but I always have blazers in my car for that unplanned meeting with a client or vendor.
