Months ago we reported that Yusuf Buhari, the son of Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari was set to wed Zahra Nasir Bayero, the daughter of the Emir of Bichi, Nasiru Ado Bayero. According to Punch, their wedding fathia is scheduled to hold on Friday, the 20th of August, 2021. Punch also reports that a statement issued by the spokesperson for Bichi Emirate, Lurwanu Malikawa, read that the Emir of Bichi had inaugurated a 145-man committee to facilitate a hitch-free wedding Fatiha.
No more Zoom weddings in New York. According to a report by the New York Times, virtual weddings (a.k.a Zoom weddings) are no longer legal in New York after Gov. Andrew Cuomo lifted his executive order, which authorized weddings to be performed utilizing audio-video technology provided certain conditions were met. The order was rescinded with effect from the 25th of June.
