Every year, we receive a number of content submissions all screaming Red! Love! Roses! 2018 was no different. From a tale of love to thorns from a rose, beauty inspired shoots to fashion inspired shoots. Here are some of the Valentine’s inspired shoots we received in 2018.
Makeup artist, Uber Glow shared this photo with us. The model, Pamela looks stunning in a Valentine’s inspired look styled by Ellax Styling. Her wig was provided by My Hair Ltd and styled by Eazzy Touch; see the photo by Akin Akintola below.
Nigerian fashion label, Mena Allure seized the opportunity to showcase Valentine’s day inspired evening gowns modelled by the current Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN), Ugochi Ihezue. See the photos by Klala Photography below.

From a tale to thorns, we featured ‘Thorns of a Rose‘, a Valentine editorial produced by Street Fashion Nigeria. The shoot featured a number of vendors including photographer, Nora Awolowo and others.
Makeup artist, NomeyJ Makeovers created a Valentine’s beauty look with the model’s hair styled by Ope Smade and photography by Oluwatobbie, check on it!
This Valentine’s inspired shoot was directed by makeup artist, Uber Glow and featured the model, Onyinye Ilechukwu styled by Seun and photographed by Osbalt Photography. The model’s hair was styled by Hair by Salvador; accessories provided by SA Collectionz and the decor was done by Party by Dear Kefty.
Photographed by Erhobak Studio, this shoot had flowers in the backdrop provided by #LWNGVendor, BradE Events. The model’s makeup was done by Bella Divas.
Photographer, Mofe Bamuyiwa of BMB Photography shared pictures from another Valentine’s inspired shoot. There were two looks created – Valentina and Valerie. Valentina (played by Pages Model, Lani) looked lovely in a dress by Yes I Do Bridal and her makeup was done by Soto Beauty Studio. Valerie (played by Pages Model, Sophia) looked stunning in a dress by The Bridal Boudoir and her makeup was done by House of Nesha.
Both models had their hair styled by Hair by Salvador; jewelries were provided by Antique Apparel and the flowers and giftboxes provided by Rolyne Designs and Eru Iyawo Concepts respectively.
